Tariq Ali in Vancouver: World Politics After Iraq |

Born in Pakistan, educated at Oxford and living in England, Tariq Ali was active in response to the Vietnam War and Gulf War. An editor of New Left Review, he has written more than a dozen books on history and politics as well as five novels. His latest book is The Clash of Fundamentalisms: Crusades, Jihad, and Modernity.
