Women's March Against Poverty : a camcorder based account of the 1996 Women's March Against Poverty. This event was organized by the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) and the National Action Committee (NAC) on the Status of Women in the same year the federal Liberal government cut billions of dollars from social programs in their phony "war on the deficit". Videography was by Heather Nicholas who travelled with the western leg of the march from Vancouver to Ottawa, for several thousand miles through dozen's of Canadian communities and across several geographic regions.
