Nurses issue Patients Bill of Rights
RNs propose specific, far-reaching improvements in services and quality of care that patients receive under our publicly-funded health care system
On the eve of a new provincial budget, BC nurses are proposing specific and far-reaching improvements in the services and quality of care available to patients under our publicly-funded health care system.
The nurses have issued a Patients Bill of Rights which proposes significant improvements in what patients can expect when they go to an emergency room, require surgery, seek community health services such as home care, need a bed in a nursing home, require palliative care in the last days of their lives and want access to information about their care.
