SATURDAY JANUARY 25, 2003, RICHMOND: Before It�s Too Late, a conference on public education funding was held on January 24 and 25, 2003 in Richmond, B.C. The B.C. Teachers� Federation, the B.C. Federation of Labour, and CUPE - BC brought together teacher, parent, support staff, and trustee representatives from around the province, as well as invited guests from provincial labour and community groups, to focus on the impact of education cuts and the strategies required to prevent further erosion of public education funding.
