Speak Out for Public Education |
Several thousand public school teachers and supporters from across the Lower Mainland rallied in downtown Vancouver on Saturday January 12 to back BC Teachers' Federation efforts to win a negotiated settlement in their contract dispute. |
Teachers at the grassroots organized the event they called "Speak Out for Public Education". Members of eighteen teachers' associations from Hope to Howe Sound and the Sunshine Coast participated in planning. |
