 | Tariq Ali, veteran journalist, commentator and activist was born in Lahore, Pakistan and lives in London. He has written over a dozen books, is a frequent contributor to The Guardian, The Nation and the London Review of Books and is on the editorial board of the New Left Review. His latest book, just out this month, takes a new a look at Pakistan and its fraught relationship with the United States.
