Week 5 of 6 weeks of Special Programming on Globalization, Global Capital & the World Trade Organization

Welcome to Seattle: Robocop thugs greeted many visitors to Seattle during November 29 - December 3 the World Trade Organization meeting in that city.

The latest program in our series on Global Capital and the World Trade Organization, the Road to Seattle looks at highlights from the Vancouver organizing that brought more than 40 busloads of Canadians to the giant November 30 rally and march against the WTO in Seattle.

It includes video from the Seattle march and rally which drew 50,000 protestors; highlights from the police violence against protestors in Seattle streets, and comments from Maude Barlow at "The Last Protest of the Century", that same evening back in Vancouver.

Dr. Vandana Shiva
