Natural gas and electricity deregulation under free trade was supposed to be great for consumers. Instead it has produced skyrocketing prices and shortages, including the recent electricity "blackouts" in California.



At Getting Zapped, British Columbians heard about the California and Alberta experiences, and about what BC needs to do to avoid "getting zapped" by energy deregulation.
